Ha! Made you look, girls!
Did you say, "Me too?" when I said I was on a diet? If you did, I'm a little worried about you.
See, to me, diet doesn't mean "lose weight" or "get skinny." To me, diet means "eat right."
I don't need to lose weight or get skinny. I weigh as much as I'm supposed to. "Diet" isn't a thing I do for a week or a month. It's the way I eat every single day.
When I'm hungry, I eat. When I'm not, I don't. When I eat, I mix it up. I eat yummy cereal in the morning, maybe a sandwich for lunch, and maybe chicken with vegetables and rice for dinner.
And snack time? Yep, I love it! Every now and then I'll have cookies or ice cream, but I also like apples, oranges, nuts, berries, yogurt - all kinds of good stuff!!
The magazines all tell you to be skinny. The TV shows and movies tell you that too. And it's OK to look good. But not eating and being too skinny is bad for you. It can mess up your insides and make you really sick.
You'll look great if you eat stuff that's good for your body and if you play around a lot to get lots of exercise.
And you know what else? You'll feel great too!
Don't let some magazine tell you how to look. You know better than anybody what's right for you!!
